Jessica Lewis produced a season-best time to finish seventh in the T53 400 metres final at the World Para Athletics Championships in London yesterday.
In a field of eight wheelchair athletes, Lewis posted a time of 1min 01.12sec, with race winner Hongzhuan Zou, of China, setting a championship record in 55:22. Chelsea McClammer, of the United States, came second in 55.50 while Samantha Kinghorn, of Britain, placed third in 55.71.
