Administrators hold meeting

The Bermuda Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals held its annual seminar yesterday with industrial psychologist Paul Loftus paving the way for members to manage change more effectively, reach peak performance and better resolve conflict. Mr. Loftus, a Canadian who has been giving seminars on the Island for more than 15 years, gave a presentation titled “Proactive: Raising the Bar”. The association said the objective of the seminar was to “provide specific tools to arm administrative professionals with the ability of foresight, recognition and control of the situations they encounter thus resulting in a ‘proactive' attitude generating professionalism and respect.”

The Bermuda chapter of the IAAP, which worldwide has 40,000 members throughout 600 chapters, was set up in 1994.
