The SPCA is appealing for volunteers to help at its annual Animal Expo and Fair on Saturday, October 4.

The charity needs parking attendants, canteen servers and raffle sellers for the event at the Botanical Gardens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers are also needed in the snack area, with white elephant sales and to help set up and clean up afterwards.

All funds from the Expo go towards food, shelter and veterinary care for the 500 or so animals that the SPCA helps and cares for each year.
