Cheyra Marie Angela Bell graduated from Howard University on May 14 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology with an Administration of Justice minor.
Cheyra is the daughter of the late Derek Bell & Carlene Spencer-Darrell. She attended Purvis Primary and Bermuda Institute. Cheyra captained the Women’s Soccer team at Howard University for three years and received the Coaches award for Leadership & Dedication at the annual Athletic Banquet.
In attendance at the 143rd Convocation for the Conferring of Degrees was mom Carlene Spencer-Darrell, brother Tahj Bell, grandfather, Carlston Spencer, Lisa & Tony Marshall, David Augustus Jr and David Bascome MBE.
Cheyra plans to attend University in the UK this fall to obtain her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology.
