By the looks of things in today’s Notebook, it might appear that only the fairer sex have reached into their bounties to support worthy causes. Not so!Members of the Executive Committee of The Freemasons’ Fund for Bermuda are seen above at the Masonic Hall, Reid Street, Hamislton recently presented cheques for $2,000 each to four worthy Bermuda charities which they recognise for their different outreaches in the community.The Freemasons’ Fund for Bermuda is comprised of every freemason in Bermuda as every one of the many Masonic Lodges is a member of it.The funds are raised on an ongoing basis, coming solely from the contributions from the Lodges and individual brethren. Funds are not solicited from outside Freemasonry.
