A new Bermuda “brand” will be unveiled by the Bermuda Department of Tourism next week in a presentation at Fairmont Southampton Princess.

According to a spokeswoman, Bermuda’s new print and television advertising strategy will be shown on Thursday to an audience of tourism and hospitality workers.

Earlier this year, Boston-based advertising agency Fuseideas was awarded a one-year contract to promote Bermuda.

Fuseideas founder and CEO Dennis Franczak said in March that he hoped the campaign would help to not only bring more people to Bermuda, but also invigorate and excite Bermudians about the potential of the industry.

“We want the people who live on the Island to feel good about this campaign, to focus on the future and to bring new visitors here,” Mr Franczak said.

“Our office is in Boston, and there’s a lot of people who live in that area who want to come to this Island. We want to reach them, we want to target them and we want to get them excited about the passion that the people here have for their Island.”
