Bermudian models to grace London catwalk
Two Bermudian models have been recruited by a top UK agency to walk the runway during London fashion week.
Sophie Adams and Rayneisha Bean were selected by Elite after participating in the Evolution fashion show at City Hall earlier this month.
The pair were among six models shortlisted by fashion scouts as potential full-time Elite models.
None were selected for the grand prize.
City of Hamilton events manager Danilee Trott said: The Elite London team felt like none of the six Bermudian finalists were strong enough to compete alongside the previously selected Elite model Look finalists in [the] competition. Unfortunately, executive decision cannot be overruled.
However, regarding two of the girls, Sophie and Rayneisha, Elite London are still very keen on them. They have some work to do in order to prepare and Elite will work with them directly to have them ready [for London fashion week].
London fashion week takes place from September 13 to 17.
