Stand out from the pack
Not sure what to wear to stand out from the pack this Cup Match holiday?
Style Bermuda founder Shiona Turini has given Lifestyle a list of her top five must have trends this season to inspire the fashionista inside us all.
Read on to learn more about her suggestions, aimed to keep you looking cool, no matter what the temperature outside.
1. Tomboy Chic
This season so many girls borrowed from the boys with a feminine twist. Very tough girl tomboy but with ampd up sex appeal. Jerseys worn as dresses, leather in the summer, baseball shorts and caps were all the rage this season.
2. Amour By Als
Local designer, Alshante Foggo is definitely soaking up the spotlight after her presentation at the recent Local Designer Showcase [at the recent City Fashion Festival]. Original, hand painted prints will ensure that no one else is dressed like you, and no one can deny her tribal, funky prints are perfect for the holiday.
A tricky trend, but one I think well see a bit of. The trendy look has been rocked by singer Rihanna, who combined mesh and the tomboy chic trend, pairing a sexy look with simple sneakers to tone it down a notch.
4. Cop a Crop Top
Crop tops are a staple in my wardrobe — not a week goes by where I dont wear one. And, there is no denying the fact that they are having a major moment worldwide. Not only can they be extremely flattering, but theyre also a great way to beat the heat
5. Mixed Prints
When done well, mixing and matching your prints totally transforms your look. The great part about this trend is that you can re-wear and reinvent items that are already in your closet but simply pairing them with something unexpected. This look we loved from Fatimayas scene at the COH Fashion Festival.
