A man has been charged with the premeditated murder of Jason Lightbourne.

Prince Barrington Edness was charged the killing of Mr Lightbourne on July 23, 2006.

The charges are indictable and Mr Edness was not required to enter a plea.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded him into custody.

Mr Edness will appear for mention on January 27.
