Flora Duffy beat out an international field to win the Totalsports XTERRA Grabouw women’s title yesterday in South Africa.

Competing at the Grabouw Country Club, she beat out the field in the 1.5-kilometre swim, 28km mountain bike ride and 11km trail run, finishing in 2hr 57min 7sec. Her boyfriend, Dan Hugo, also brought home the men’s title.

Last month, the Olympian claimed the silver medal at the Totalsports Xterra Buffelspoort Triathlon, also in South Africa.

Commenting on her Twitter account, Duffy thoroughly enjoy edthe sweetness of victory. “We don’t win often, but when we do we celebrate with lots of ice cream,” Duffy said. “Double trouble rules.”
