Pedestrian hurt in road crash

A man was taken to hospital after what Police described as “a serious collision’” in Hamilton Parish this morning.

However, he was later discharged.

The crash, at the junction of North Shore Road and Rocky Lane, involved a pedestrian and a motorcyclist.

The injured man was believed to be 52 years-old and from Devonshire. He was treated for “unspecified injuries.”

The motorcycle rider involved was not injured.
