Dear Sir,

May I encourage the OBA to disregard some of the rhetoric from The Opposition and get on with governing Bermuda as they see fit.

Reading that The S&P expects credit losses to pile up for Bermudas banks, it is time for bold decision making. The polls suggest the PLP are gaining ground as our economy is still slumping. The fact that bank credit losses will exceed $1.0 billon -$1.2 billion (2009-2016) implies something has to be done. Bermudians are losing their main investment, their homes, as the real estate crash continues. We must reverse this swing, sooner rather than later.

Give status to PRC holders so they can contribute more to our well being. Implement immigration reform that will encourage foreign investment. Do not procrastinate, as Bermuda’s well being is at stake here!

The way things are going, the economy in decline will only enhance the PLP’s chance of being reelected. Is that what the OBA wants?

Move at speed with initiatives that will give all hope and prosperity. Just do it ASAP!
