Dear Sir,

Today marks the 40th anniversary of my first trip to Bermuda.

Since 1974, I have had 47 great vacations on your beautiful island. From my first sight of your fabulous coral reefs through the plane window, I have never been the same. As the taxi left the Causeway and headed up the hill, I knew that I was in paradise.

I was amazed by the beauty of the South Shore beaches, as well as the homes and the flowers. But then I met the people. I felt like a welcomed guest, and have been treated like one ever since.

I have vacationed at big and small hotels, guest houses and small apartments. Every one was a great experience.

My home on Long Island reflects my Bermuda vacations , and while the Island has changed much over the years, as I have, but it is always my favourite place.

I am looking forward to my next visit in October.

Thanks Bermuda, you are truly another world.
