Jamaica in ruthless mood

Bermuda walk out yesterday for their ill-fated match against Jamaica, one of the tournament favourites

Bermuda crashed out of the Women’s Caribbean Cup after losing 9-1 to Jamaica in Trinidad & Tobago yesterday.

Naquita Robinson’s team will be looking to avoid taking the wooden spoon, having lost 5-1 in their opening game against Haiti on Tuesday.

Bermuda, who are bottom of the group, will play their final match of the competition against Puerto Rico tomorrow.

Puerto Rico lost 4-1 to Haiti yesterday. Jamaica top the group after beating Puerto Rico 4-1 in their opening game.

The top two teams of the group qualify for the Concacaf Women’s Championship, a qualifying tournament for the 2015 Women’s World Cup.
