Jonté Smith, the Bermuda striker, grabbed the opening goal in Kemi Kings’ 6-0 home victory over JBK in the Kakkonen North at the weekend.
Smith scored in the 18th minute to start the ball rolling with Billy Ions adding another goal before half-time.
Ions grabbed his second early in the second half with further goals coming from Sasa Jovovic and Tommi Haanpaa. Ions bagged his hat-trick with a goal in added time. Kings, who play in the third tier of Finnish football, have a three-point lead at the top of the table over second place YPA.
Smith initially joined Kings on loan from Crawley Town, of Sky Bet League One, before signing a deal that will keep him in Finland until the end of the season.
