A duo of Bermuda lawyers have been honoured with an international award in London.

Appleby global head of private client and trusts Carlos de Serpa Pimental and Bermuda managing partner Kiernan Bell were presented with the prestige Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) International Legal Team of the Year for 2014-15.

Bermuda group head of private client and trusts Vanessa Schrum said: “Attaining this type of recognition for the work that our private client and trusts team does in Bermuda and globally is excellent.

“It is a real testament to our hard work and commitment to delivering market-leading advice and services to our clients.

“It is also a public demonstration of our leading reputation for being a go-to adviser in the private-client sector.”

The award was presented at a reception in the London Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday night.
