A Pembroke man was this morning charged with intruding on the privacy of a woman over the Cup Match holiday

The 21-year-old denied the charge, which was related to an incident which occurred in Southampton on July 31. Neither he, nor the complainant, can be identified for legal reasons.

Magistrate Juan Wolffe released the defendant on $2,000 bail, ordering that he avoid all contact with the victim.

The matter is set to return to court for trial early next year.
