Curving Avenue residents say they have appealed in vain for a cleanup at a residence whose trash-littered yard has become a haven for rats.

An area homeowner, requesting not to be named, told The Royal Gazette they’d appealed to police and the Health Department, even as the rubbish continues to pile up. “It’s shocking, all the junk in the yard — we’re finished talking about it. The people that own the house are overseas and all this hoarding has gone on there.

“It used to be a beautiful house, but the way it’s being treated now, all the trash is just being left at the roadside. It’s disgusting and it’s an eyesore. It just needs to be sorted out.”
