Foster hat-trick sends Onions top

League leaders: John Tully in action for Flanagan's Onions

Flanagan’s Onions climbed to the top of the Corona League table with a 4-3 victory over Lock N Key thanks to a hat-trick from Stewart Foster at Goose Gosling Field on Saturday.

Nick Pilanthos also scored for Onions, with Jamaul Boyles netting for Lock N Key.

Matthew Madeiros grabbed a hat-trick in North Village Rams’ 5-1 victory over Lobster Pot on Friday night.

Andrew Rahman and Aljame Zuill also found the net for Village, who are second in the table, one point behind Onions after four games.

Lobster Pot’s scorer could not be confirmed.

Also on Friday night, Robin Hood suffered a disappointing defeat after losing 3-1 to Vasco. Rui Sebestiao bagged a brace for Vasco with Quincy Paynter also finding the target. Grant Mckellar scored for Hood.

BAA Wanderers and West End United shared the spoils, with Dean Martin scoring for BAA and Cody Lema grabbing a goal for West End on Saturday.
