St George’s hosts a night of Haunted History

Kristin White, Development Director of the St. George's Foundation

The history of St George’s will come eerily alive tomorrow with ghost stories, fortune telling and “wicked” tunes.

The St George’s Foundation has organised the Haunted History event, which will have live music from Devil’s Isles Audio and DJ Tan Zaoui, face-painting by Hannah Strang and Rhona Emmerson as well as live actors re-enacting the stories of old.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the St George’s Foundation.

“Our goal is to have a fundraiser but also to present St George’s history in a fun and engaging way,” Kristin White, the development director for the St George’s Foundation, said.

“The event aims to focus on St George’s history but also job creation, as all our actors will be paid.”

Haunted History, funded by the Bank of Bermuda Foundation, will be held at the World Heritage Centre at 19 Penno’s Wharf, St George’s, from 7pm to 11pm.

Dinner and drinks will be included in the price of the tickets, which are $125 for members of the St George’s Foundation or $150 for non-members. Group discounts will also be available.

Tickets are on sale at www.ptix.bm.
