Hood go top with win

Robin Hood climbed to the top of the Corona League with a 3-0 victory over B&V United at Goose Gosling Field last Friday.

Rohann Simons scored twice and Jamie Smith also found the net for Derek Stapley’s side.

Also on Friday, North Village drew against Flanagan’s Onions 1-1. Keith Szmierek was on target for Onions, with Aljame Zuill scoring for Village.

Tuff Dogs continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-2 draw against West End United on Saturday.

Jeff Franklin and Jahko Bolin were the scorers for Dogs while Andre Outerbridge and Ian Mullins struck for United.

Goals from Quincy Painter, Quincy Aberdeen and Kevin Arruda helped Vasco to a 3-1 win over BAA Wanderers, whose scorer was Wayne Clapham.

Lock N Key enjoyed a goal-laden 6-4 victory over Lobster Pot. Dion Stovell, Otis Minors, Chris Furbert, Jamaul Boyes and Marvin Belboda scored for Key.

Denzil Nelson and Donavon Thompson both bagged braces for Pot.
