The biggest mover was Bank of Butterfield, which saw 15,000 shares sold, leaving the share price unchanged at $1.99.

And 600 shares in insurance firm BF&M also sold, leaving its closing price also unchanged at $18 a share.

The Index closed unchanged at 1370.88.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 5.06 points at 1531.13, an increase of 0.33 per cent.
