Seaman strikes to seal victory

On Friday Cedarbridge Academy and Saltus Grammar School boys battled it out on the Bermuda BFA field, playing football.

As the two teams settled down, representing their schools, great sportsmanship was portrayed progressively throughout the match. Within the first 5 minutes of the game Saltus scored the first goal, taking an early 1 – 0 lead.

Keeping their heads in the game, Te’vahn Tyrell (CBA) managed to tie the game 1 – 1 on a penalty shot. Still pursuing to gain the win, Cedarbridge’s Ajahree Smith scored the second goal, but Saltus was determined to break the lead.

Saltus made a strong comeback with full force, scoring another goal tallying the score 2 -2.

Saltus was not going down without a fight. Whilst time ticked along, both teams showed great possession, remaining focused.

Various skills were incorporated in player’s footwork, making it challenging for their opponents to gain the ball.

CedarBridge snatched victory with a late second half goal by Antoine Seaman. Excellent defending meant a lot. Each team exhibited integrity and great virtue towards each and every one. Win or lose CedarBridge Academy and Saltus Grammar left the field with peace.
