Dear Sir,

I watched the new video put out by the Bermuda Tourism Authority and loved it. Loved the music and more importantly hope we can get there.

I think we can if the media would be cooperative in not spewing and twisting everything to be so nasty.

It would be in the best interest for all of us in Bermuda to encourage our radio and TV as well as newspapers to stop the mentality of selling media (eyes and ears) based on hate, anger, race, political animosity, and so on.

It’s been said that if one ‘smiles to one another, speaks “good day”, laughs’, that this can be contagious. The media is a powerful tool to all, and we need to change their intent.

I guarantee sales will be up if a more positive outlook is taken, as opposed to the smearing we so often are exposed to. Bermuda is one of the most beautiful and endearing destinations on earth, and as a people we can be too.
