The Bermuda Futsal Federation has expanded its women’s futsal programme.

The BFF is set to launch an Under-16 girls league on January 30, with matches to be held at Somersfield Academy, beginning at 6pm.

“The Under-16 League will expand on the successful women’s futsal programme and will offer younger players who may be new to futsal to learn and develop their football skills using the exciting game of futsal,” Peter Sousa, the BFF president, said.

“The BFF is pleased to be working with CP Athletic Development who will be providing its support in administering the league.”

Schools, clubs, youth organisations or other interested persons are invited to register teams.

Registration forms can be collected at the Bermuda Football Association or the Bermuda Futsal Federation’s website at bdafutsal@yahoo.com.

Completed registration forms with payment (cheques payable to the Bermuda Futsal Federation) should be submitted to the BFA Office before the January 23 registration deadline.
