BCB set for review

Bermuda Cricket Board will hold meetings today and tomorrow as part of a comprehensive review of its plans for the future.

The International Cricket Council will be supporting the BCB in its endeavours and Tom Humphries, the regional development officer, will arrive today to help the governing body identify the best way to improve the game on the Island.

The ICC have also provided the services of Judy Sutcliffe, the owner of The Sutcliffe Group, a firm that specialises in helping governing bodies improve the delivery of sport.

“The BCB has always recognised the importance of strategic planning and ensuring that its governance processes continue to match international best practice,” Lloyd Fray, the BCB president, said.

“The Executive review the strategic plan annually and conduct strategic planning on a triennial basis.

“I am very encouraged that the ICC has selected Bermuda as a targeted country providing further validation to the quality and consistency of our work.”
