Bermuda’s private schools will close on April 17 so students can attend the planned Agricultural Exhibition.

Peter Harding, spokesman for the Bermuda Independent Schools Association and principal at Somersfield Academy, said Bermuda High School, Bermuda Institute, Mount Saint Agnes, Saltus Grammar School, Somersfield Academy and Warwick Academy would shut for the day.

Government schools will be open on the day, which is usually designated a holiday.
