Dear Sir,

Why do we have to remind you over and over? For the Zanes, Burts, Sherri Js, Furberts and whoever else is listening — when any government has to make cuts, there will always be some very unhappy people. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what you all don’t get.

The OBA is doing what they have to because they do not want to go down the road of the PLP, spending willy nilly and borrowing more and more money that we cannot pay back, and they are trying to fix the mess created by the PLP.

What the OBA would like is for you to stop with all the critical politicking and maybe help get us out of this mess.

Being as the PLP and the unions seem to be one, maybe you can ensure that our bus drivers and Works and Engineering fellas go to work and stop crying because they cannot get overtime when so many of us aren’t getting any time.

Maybe you can remind these fellas that they are ruining it for all of us. You had the option before to continue to take the furlough day once a month, but you chose door two, which means some will lose their jobs. That money had to be made from somewhere.

I should remind you, we are all in this together and half a glass is better than empty. Now grow up, understand what your PLP so graciously did to you, and take your heads out of the sand.
