Mindless demon-possessed zombies!

Dear Sir,

On Saturday, March 7, 2015, I was working late into the night at home. My activity included using ear-buds (mini-headphones) attached to my computer. Thus it was after midnight that I became aware of a rhythmic thudding through the walls of my home in St George’s.

I continued at my computer, realising that the noise would prevent sleep and expecting that it would soon cease — as it was in fact 1am (the hour having sprung forward at midnight).

Well, around 2am, I went outside and discovered the source of the bedlam — a party of some sort, raving at the RAA Club over half a mile away! The sound from that distance was equivalent to having a loud bass speaker in an adjacent room. The excessive “thud, thud, thud” of its “who-knows-how-many-thousand-watt” speakers, was palpable within one square mile of its origin!

The aural assault did not abate until 4am!! Sleep was impossible for any but the deaf.

Now, excessive noise is not (sadly) unusual in Bermuda. Excessive noise until 4am most certainly is!

Yet, disturbing to the neighbourhood as it was, this is not the primary reason for my letter.

As a Naturopath, I am well aware of the physiological, neurological and psychological effects of extended exposure to high-decibel sound.

In particular, high-volume bass syncopated rhythm has a damaging effect on the delicate tissue, bones and neural pathways leading from the middle and inner ear to the brain.

Physically, the results are hearing loss and lifelong tinnitus. Mentally and spiritually, the effects are much worse.

Prolonged loud syncopation (where the impact is emphasised on the second and fourth beats of a four-beat bar) jars the human body into an unnatural asynchronous physical reaction.

This is exactly why so-called “modern” dancing is more like the TV portrayal of zombies jerking about, than the graceful steps of, say, a waltz.

The body (which naturally responds to a first and third beat emphasis, as in marches, or traditional church hymns) is jerked “out-of-sync” and desperately tries to rectify the imbalance.

Mentally and spiritually, when the ears are subjected to high-decibel syncopation, the beat mesmerises the mind and the song’s lyrics bypass the brain’s frontal lobe — where messages are filtered for morality and judgment – and enter the brain via the hypothalamus, which directs a multitude of important functions in the body, including many autonomic functions of the peripheral nervous system.

The hypothalamus also influences various emotional responses. This is why voodoo drums are used to induce a trance-like altered mental state in its adherents.

They are also one avenue through which evil spirits take possession of the human soul.

When one considers that modern voodoo practice — in the form of rave parties, such as that which transpired on Saturday night — are both relished and unrestricted in Bermuda, we may be assured that our young, and not-so-young, partygoers, are being brainwashed and worse, into mindless demon-possessed zombies!

Radical as this may seem to the “refined” modern mind, it is both a well-known reality and a purposeful strategy against mankind, amongst witches and satanists.

My plea is for Bermuda to wake up out of its pleasure-seeking ignorance and to seek for Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, before it is everlastingly too late! Wake up Bermuda!
