The annual KPMG Round the Grounds junior races will be held at Botanical Gardens on Sunday, the 17th straight year that KPMG has sponsored the event which features races over various distances for youngsters ranging in ages from four to eighteen.

KPMG partner with Mid-Atlantic Athletics Club to put on the races which has over 500 youngsters taking part. Races will start on Sunday at 1pm and will see the four and five year olds racing over 400 metres; six and seven year olds in 700 metre races while eight to 12 year old will race over a one mile course.

The older group, 13 to 18, will compete over 2.1 miles as will the mixed relay teams (4x700m).
