Many questions, very few answers

Dear Sir,

Bermudians were more united under the infamous former Government, Progressive Labour Party, 14 years on. Oh how I miss those days, don’t we all? I’m afraid not!

We had the highest unemployment figures in modern history, if not ever.

We faced the worst tourism figures ever.

Worst education system ever.

Largest exodus from businessmen in the international sector ever.

Lowest construction figures ever.

More people lost their homes due to unpaid mortgages than ever before.

Most murders ever.

Worst serious crime figures ever.

$800 million unaccounted for under Progressive Labour Party rule.

We went from surplus to massive debt.

We had more tourist accommodations, hotel and guest houses close their doors in 14 years than ever before.

Exactly who were you supporting?

Go to New York if you want to see Beyoncé. We can’t afford any $4 million concert.

What did the PLP do for anyone outside of their close circle of families and friends aside from the Uighurs?

I have to ask this, did you benefit from one of the construction projects that went way over budget, i.the Berkeley, DLBE Building, Bermuda Emissions/TCD, Port Royal Golf Course?

Or did you benefit from the taking of the Bermuda Cement Company from one person only to be handed to others?

Or did you benefit from the Coco Reef, White’s Island or City of Hamilton deals?

Or are you related to someone who holds a key position within the Progressive Labour Party?

Please answer one if not all of these questions.

Inquisitive minds want to know?
