Finance Minister Bob Richards has launched a defamation suit against Bermuda Public Service Union president Jason Hayward.

The lawsuit comes as a result of comments made by Mr Hayward on a ZBM broadcast, paid for by the People’s Campaign. ZBM issued a public apology for the broadcast on Friday. Mr Richards yesterday confirmed the lawsuit, but said he was not able to go into further details about the legal action.
