Transitions. When you are in the process of changing any organisation, your challenges are often multiplied given the number of changes that have to be made and the time it does take to implement those changes.

This takes good planning, lots of patience, and the co-operation of many individuals within that organisation. The key is in the planning and preparation so that you minimise the speed bumps that always happen during these times and particularly the impact that they might have.

It is also a good idea to assess all actions with the view to “what is the worst thing that can happen” as this helps with that planning. As you move through the process stop and take stock of your progress and resolve small issues so that they do not become large and more complex. The key is in the preparation!
