TN Tatem won the middle school netball tournament at Bernard Park with an 11-7 win over the Whitney Institute in the final.

Kaamilah Nasir led Tatem with all 11 goals. Whitney got their goals from Izeya Wainwright with four, and Druw Bascome with three.

Tatem had earlier defeated Somersfield Academy 9-3 in the semi-final. Wainwright again led Tatem with five goals while Ayana tucker added four.

Somersfield got goals from Christina Costello with one and Emma Astwood with two.

Whitney needed overtime to defeat Saltus in the other semi-final. Whitney came out on top 7-5, with Bascome scoring four and Wainwright scoring three. Xe’Azjah Paynter scored all of Saltus’ goals.
