Bermudian George Thomas has been appointed as a director of Polaris Holding Company, the parent company for Stevedoring Services Limited.

He has experience as a business strategist, negotiator and advisor in global markets including North America, Asia and Europe, said Polaris in a statement.

Polaris chairwoman Cheryl Hayward-Chew said the board of directors was “excited to have Mr Thomas among its membership. This is another critical step towards the diversification of the Polaris brand”.
