Shares of investment holding company Somers Ltd went up 50 cents to $13.50 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 3.8 per cent, came after 200 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $34 after 23,715 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank lost 32 cents, or 0.93 per cent, to $34.27.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 3.33 points, or 0.16 per cent, at 2,050.41.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 6.36 points, or 0.34 per cent, at 1,875.37.
