Argus Group Holdings jumped 25 cents, or 6.7 per cent, to $4 per share after 1,544 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also improving was One Communications, which rose by one cent per share, or 0.3 per cent, to $3 after 8,200 were exchanged.

BF&M Ltd edged 40 cents lower, or 2.1 per cent, to $19.10 after 900 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank was down 25 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $36.15 after 1,200 shares traded. On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares closed 26 cents higher, or 0.72 per cent, at $36.14.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 9.17 points, or 0.43 per cent, at 2,146.47, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 0.89 of a point, or 0.05 per cent, at 1,870.11.
