Shares of BF&M Ltd improved 25 cents, or 1.4 per cent, to $18.75 after 4,576 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.Butterfield Bank shares gained 10 cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $30.10 after 400 were exchanged, while in New York trading the bank’s shares were up 11 cents, or 0.36 per cent, at $30.93.Separately, the bank notified the BSX that it intends to resume its existing share repurchase programme, effective tomorrow.On the local exchange, there was trading in 1,500 shares of Polaris Holdings Co Ltd, and 6,632 shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd, but with no change to the closing prices of either stock.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 6.41 points, or 0.31 per cent, at 2,063.35, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 4.91 points, or 0.29 per cent, at 1,679.93.
