Imitation gun found after police chase
Police recovered an imitation firearm after a high-speed police chase on Thursday.
The chase began after a report of an incident on Marsh Lane, in Devonshire, at about 9.45pm.
The motorcyclist abandoned his bike and ran into the Devonshire Marsh to escape police.
A police spokesman said: “Officers immediately conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area for the male suspect.
“However, he was not located.”
The motorcycle he was riding has been impounded.
