Cullinan to talk batting in Zoom webinar

Former South Africa Test batsman Daryll Cullinan will be the guest speaker in an inaugural Zoom webinar put on by the Bermuda Cricket Board on Saturday.

Cullinan, who coached the Bermuda team for a short spell ahead of Red Stripe Bowl commitments in the late 1990s, will discuss batting in different formats, with emphasis placed on T20 and 50-overs cricket.

Cullinan played 70 Test matches between 1993 and 2001, with an average of 44.21, 14 centuries and 20 fifties, and a high score of 275 not out.

His high score, made against New Zealand at Eden Park in 1999, stood as a national record until 2012 when Hashim Amla made an unbeaten 311 against England at the Oval.

The webinar will begin at 3pm, with players and coaches invited to take part. Admission is free.
