Corn and broccoli stolen

Large amounts of corn and broccoli have been stolen from fields in Devonshire and Smith’s.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources advised people not to buy local produce from people who are not regular vendors or seem suspicious.

“Quite often these individuals are looking for a quick sale at a low price and looking for a cash payment,” said a statement.

Anyone with information about the theft or encounters suspicious individuals selling corn and broccoli is asked to contact the police on 295-0011.
