No serious incidents have been reported by police over the Cup Match holiday.

A vigilant police presence will be maintained on roads and on the water, a police statement said.

The statement added: “During the period between Wednesday, August 1 at 11pm and Friday, August 3 at 11pm, there were nine collisions and four of those collisions resulted in injury, seven persons arrested for driving under the influence, two individuals arrested for drugs, nine persons arrested on warrants and one high speed chase.”
