Two teens in custody over abuse video

A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested this afternoon in connection with an attack on lambs at a farm.

A video of an attack on lambs owned by Westover Farm in Sandys appeared on social media on Friday, which sparked a police inquiry.

A spokesman said the two remained in custody.

He added: “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance so far and continue to appeal for persons with relevant information to come forward, as additional individuals are being sought regarding this matter.”

Anyone with information which could help the inquiry should Constable Melvin Best at 717-2385, or Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.
