Arrest after boat hits rocks
A man was arrested after a boat ran aground early this morning.
Police said that the powerboat was found on the rocks near Cobbler’s Cut, in Pembroke, with two men aboard.
The men, said to be aged 28 and 43, were not injured.
A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said that the 38-year old man was arrested on suspicion of operating the boat while impaired.
He added: “He was subsequently released on police bail pending further inquiries and a court appearance is anticipated in due course.”
