Teenagers arrested over bike theft
Two boys aged 14 and 15 were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motorcycle on New Year’s Eve.
Police said the 15-year-old was riding a motorcycle and the younger boy was his passenger on Front Street at 11.45pm.
Police stopped the pair, who were wearing gloves with masks pulled over their faces.
A spokesman said checks revealed the motorcycle was reported as stolen.
The older boy ran away but was chased and caught by officers. Both boys were arrested but were later bailed.
Police also arrested a motorcyclist for possession of drugs with intent to supply in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Officers stopped the man, who was riding without lights on St John’s Road, Pembroke, just after 2am.
They carried out a search and discovered several clear plastic twists containing what was believed to be a controlled drug.
Police said the man also had several warrants outstanding.
