British man hurt in bike crash


A contract worker suffered minor injuries when his rental scooter collided with a car.

The 36-year-old British man was riding along North Shore Road when he crashed with the vehicle which was being driven along The Glebe Road at 6.45am yesterday.

The 47-year-old Pembroke man driving the car was not injured.

Both vehicles were damaged and traffic was diverted while police carried out inquiries at the scene.
