Two injured in Southampton collision
Two men suffered serious injuries in a collision this morning near the Fairmont Southampton.
According to police, officers received a report of a collision involving two motorcycles at 7.30am today on Harbour View Drive, Southampton.
The spokesman said: “It appears that the two riders involved — said to be a 44-year-old Warwick man and a 22-year-old Sandys parish man — were travelling in opposite directions at the time.
“Both were injured and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of potentially serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.”
Both vehicles were also damaged in the collision.
