A man caught driving at almost double the speed limit was banned from the roads for six months.

Eli Richardson, 20, admitted speeding at 67km/h in Smith’s on July 11 when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Richardson was fined $370 for the offence and had seven points added to his licence.

He had six prior demerits and was disqualified from driving based on points accrued.
