Today’s reopening of Hamilton Health Centre has been postponed for another week for urgent building repairs.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Health said that the clinic had been expected to be open this morning, but plumbing problems meant further repairs were needed.

An update on when normal services will resume at the Victoria Street centre is expected later this week.

The Communicable Disease Clinic was moved temporarily to the Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre in St David’s because of the closure.

Adult Immunisation and the Child Health Clinic will be held at St Paul AME Church Centennial Hall on Court Street from 10am to noon tomorrow and Thursday. To make an appointment, call 332-8917.

The Well Baby Clinic at the Warwick clinic will take place between 2pm and 4pm today and Friday. For further information, call 332-8886.

Oral health services will be offered at the St George’s clinic this week, except for Thursday and Friday when the clinic will be closed for training. For an appointment, call 278-4900.

Community Health home-based services will operate as normal. Call 332-8887 for assistance.

The department apologised for any inconvenience caused by the continued repairs.
