Saturday virus update: 126 tests, 0 positive
The Ministry of Health received 126 coronavirus test results on Saturday and none were positive.
Bermuda’s total number of confirmed cases remains at 146 and three of those are active.
One patient is being treated in hospital but not in critical care. Nine people with the disease have died and 134 people have recovered.
Four cases remain under investigation to determine the source of transmission. A government spokeswoman said that there were 15 cases transmitted locally with an unknown contact.
Another 85 cases were transmitted locally with a known contact and 42 were brought in from overseas. Bermuda’s country status is “local transmission — sporadic cases”.
The spokeswoman added: “The seven-day average of our real-time reproduction number is below 1.”
